On September 6^th and 7^th, the first Studioszene will take place at XPOST in Cologne, Germany. Studioszene is the community & workshop platform that brings recording, mixing, mastering engineers and producers as well as studio equipment and software manufacturers together. Over the course of two days, you will find a total of 50 workshops and talks on music and audio production in a 3,000 square metre venue. Additionally, Studioszene will also include 40 top manufacturers from the studio sector, who will present their products and innovations on site – ready for you to test.

Studioszene offers passionate music creators the opportunity to meet international and national engineers, exchange ideas and gain new insights, experiences and know-how. Leave routine behind, explore new horizons and increase your creativity!

It’s all about joining in!

Over the course of two days and in a total of 50 workshops and talks, established engineers and producers will show you how good sound is created already in front of the microphone and how they deal with various problems in the recording, mixing or mastering process. Furthermore, they will demonstrate how this results in the creation of a finished track.

In addition to music and audio production topics, our talks will also discuss everything to do with the music business – such as the development of music consumption, self-marketing, artists’ social insurance, retirement provisions for freelancers and much more.

To Studioszene, we have invited both top-class nationally and internationally renowned engineers as well as underground freelancers who will speak of their work and everyday studio life.

Everything the studio heart desires

The top manufacturers in the studio sector will exhibit their products and innovations on site. They will be available for discussions, product demonstrations and application-related questions. And, of course, gear talk and gear porn are also a must.
